Description

Results of a benchmark calculation of the three-nucleon (3H) photodisintegration cross section with modern realistic two- and three-nucleon forces using both the Faddeev equations and the Lorentz integral transform (LIT) method are presented. The comparison between the results obtained within these methods gave an idea of the precision reached by three-body calculations involving continuum states. The contributions of magnetic and higher order electric multipole, of retardation, meson exchange contributions as well as of Coulomb force were also investigated. The comparison with existing rather old data showed that the theoretical quality of the results is considerably higher than the experimental uncertainties. Refs. 4 (nevyjel)
