Nonequilibrium surface ionization of water molecules in strong electric field in resonant absorption of near infrared radiation

Description
The results of experiments, aimed at establishing links between the current of ions, de-sorbing from the surface by availability of electric field, and the frequency of infrared radiation, falling on the surface, are described. It is shown, that resonance absorption of infrared radiation by absorbed molecules increases the efficiency of the surface ionization process
