Resonances in heavy ion collisions

The author gives a review about experimental and theoretical studies of resonances in heavy ion reactions. Especially considered are experiments on elastic scattering, total cross sections, transfer reactions, and radiative capture as well as theoretical studies in the framework of diffraction models, the coupled channel theory, group-theoretical approaches, the use of the nuclear potential, TDMF, and nuclear molecules.
