Effect of solute hydrogen on critical temperature of niobium superconducting transition
- 1. AN SSSR, Inst. Problem Tekhnologii Mikroehlektroniki i Osobochistykh Materialov
Description
Using the induction method of measuring the critical temperature (Tsub(C)), the time-dependent stability of pure niobium with the rhosub(293K)/rhosub(4.2 K)=1000 has been studied. Pure mono- and polycrystal niobium is shown to possess the superconducting-to-normal-state transition width 0.5 and 1 m K, respectively, and a high time-dependent stability. Alloying with hydrogen results in a Tsub(C) increase and time-dependent instability
