Description

The report studies into key problems associated with direct and indirect consequences of possible radiological terrorist acts committed in urban conditions. Much attention is paid to the analysis of lessons learned from elimination of consequences of past radiation accidents in the territory of the former USSR, especially as regards radioactive contamination of cities. The report contains recommendations on necessary improvements of instrumentation, methodological, legal and organizational bases of managerial decision-making to reduce a probability of radiological terrorism acts and minimize their direct and indirect consequences.
