Description
The method described in this note for the analysis of boron meets the demands set by the preparation of boron-labelled monoclonal antibodies. Small droplets of the solution to be analysed are applied to the detector. After neutron irradiation and etching, 10B can be determined in concentrations well below 0.1 μg ml-1 by optoelectronic evaluation of the tracks formed. Less than 0.1 mg 10B is required for analysis.
