A tube of Zircaloy was scanned in order to determine the hydrogen distribution along its axis from hydrogen capture gamma rays. The hydrogen distribution was the result of diffusion and precipitation of hydrogen in Zircaloy. The sensitivity of the method is demonstrated. (Auth.)
