Microstructure and superconductive properties of fused ceramics YBa2Cu3O7-x with addition of silver

Description
Effect of thermal treatment of YBa2Cu3O7-x+Ag (10 and 20 mass%) on their electric properties is studied. It is shown that under IR heat short-term action (5 s) the rhombic structure of initial YBa2Cu3O7-x remains, while density of critical current increases by 3.5-5.5 times. Similar effect of IR heat during 10 s (specimen overheating) results in phase transition of initial rhombic substance into tetragonal phase with Tc essential decrease and with occurance of additional phases due to compound decomposition
