The cornerstone of configuration management design baseline documentation reconstitution
Description
Utilities efforts in responding to the nuclear power generation industry initiatives associated with establishing a comprehensive and effective configuration management program have been hampered by the difficulty in defining appropriate baselines and reconstructing original baselines to which the plant was built and tested. This paper presents a systematic approach for an effective design baseline consolidation program as an integral part of the much broader issue of configuration management and offers recommendations for a cost effective program to develop useful and complete design basis documents
