Environment assisted cracking of materials as a significant cause of engineering systems malfunctions
Creators
Description
One of the typical materials science problems, namely, the problem of environment assisted cracking of materials, is considered. This problem is directly linked with safety and reliability problems of such potentially dangerous engineering systems as NPPs. A high degree of cracking of materials used in the components of the probability of further disasters and accidents with serious and irreversible aftereffects for the environment
