Lithium fluoride lyoluminescence
Description
Kinetics of lyoluminescence of lithium fluoride monocrystal gamma-irradiated by doses up to 1 MGy when dissolving it in sulfuric acid, is investigated. Recording of luminescence from the surface of the crystal and from the solvent volume is carried out. Lithium fluoride pulsing lyoluminescence is excited and recorded by the method of periodically accelerated rotating disc. The regions of practical application of the effects detected are considered. Possibilities of considerable improvement of measurement reproducibility in lyoluminescence dosimetry when using new methods are shown
