Eco information 6. Influence of operation of the plants Jadrova vyradovacia spolocnost , a.s., on the environment within June 2008

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP and Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (VYZ) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within January - June 2008 (for NPP V1, VYZ A1, and VYZ MSVP, respectively) were: 1.961 TBq (0.098% of annually limit (AL)) for V1 of rare gases; 11.702 MBq (0.015% AL) for V1), 0.315 MBq (0.112% of AL) for VYZ A1 and 3.993 MBq (0.0067% of AL) for VYZ MSVP) of aero-soles; 0.660 MBq (0.001% of AL) for V1) of iodine. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a June 2008 for NPP V1, VYZ A1 and VYZ MSVP, respectively) were: 0.471 TBq (V1) of rare gases; 0.417 MBq (V1), 0.370 MBq (VYZ A1) and 0.046 MBq (VYZ MSVP) of aero-soles; 1.739 MBq (V1) of iodine; 1.648 MBq (V1) and 7.17 MBq (VYZ, totally) of corrosive and fission products, and 84.9 GBq (V1) and 15.73 GBq (VYZ, totally) of tritium. For the period January - June 2008 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 9.852 MBq (0.076% of AL) for V1, 50.68 MBq (0.42% of AL) for VYZ; and for tritium it is 1709.6 GBq (8.548% of AL) for V1, 93.93 GBq (0.94% of AL) for VYZ.
