Description
Magnetic-field fluctuations and electron-confinement time, in JET Tokamak, are studied. Magnetic-fluctuations measurements using pick-up coils located in the scrape-off layer are performed. Frequency characteristics from a pick-up coil situated near the low-field equatorial plan are analyzed by eight band-pass filters. Neutral beam injection and ICRH heating are applied. The effect of the current profile by a modulation of the RF heating has been investigated. Magnetic fluctuations may be a fundamental process for the energy confinement in tokamaks
