Using ion-extraction chromatography to eliminate curium from americium in its determination by liquid scintillation spectrometry method

Description

This work presents separation procedure of americium (VI) from the curium (III) and other lanthanides and actinides using calcium fluoride as a ion-exchange conventional columns. It was also tested for the separation system of trivalent americium and curium using ion-exchange sorbent, which is available under the commercial name of Dowex. (authors)
