Description

Calculations of lambda parameters of the Tule station characterizing the effective period of cosmic ray (CR) variations and its change with time are performed for the period from 1958 to 1975 using the polar diagram method. Two characteristic periods of CR intensity variations (T approximately 27 days, and T approximately 20-24 days), which changes each other, is shoWn to exist. Time variations of lambda parameter calcUlated for CR intensity and solar spot area are presented for the period from 1965 to 1967. Good agreement between changes of periods of CR variations and solar activity is revealed
