Description

Highlights: • FEC + DMC solvent was used on Mg2Si anode. • Commercial Mg2Si showed greatly improved cycling stability in FEC + DMC solvent. • FEC + DMC solvent induces the compact and LiF enriched SEI on Mg2Si. • FEC + DMC is a better solvent than VC + DMC for Mg2Si.
