Boiling crisis in water forced flow in tubes
Description
The simple model of nucleate boiling crisis in water forced flow in long uniformly heated tubes is proposed. The model explains the regularities of the crisis of the first and the second orders. The correlations for the first critical heat flux density and for the boundary void fraction are obtained. The verification and the optimization of these correlations are fulfilled. 16 refs.; 3 figs.; 2 tabs
