Investigation of titanium carbide wettability with Kh4N2M8 steel alloyed with manganese by means of experiment planning

Description
Investigated was the wettability of titanium carbide by molten Kh4N2M8 steel with manganese additions. Studied were the time dependences of the boundary wettability angles. Increasing contents of chromium, carbon, molybdenum contributes to a decrease of the boundary wettability angle, whereas increasing the contents of nickel and manganese raises the boundary angle. The investigations were carried out using the planning experiment method
