Description
Many radiochemical plants require tritium handling operations including hydrogen isotope separation. One of the most effective methods of hydrogen isotope separation is Combined Electrolysis and Catalytic Exchange process (CECE). High energy consumption significantly limits number of method applications. So improving CECE-process efficiency is the major task. The paper describes new way to improve separation column efficiency through changing operation temperature of upper part of isotope exchange column. (author)
