Threshold rate of fatigue crack growth and cyclic crack resistance on metals

Description
A technique is proposed for determining the parameter of cyclic crack resistance of metals by the threshold rate of fatigue crack growth which corresponds to the local elastoplastic transition under cyclic landing. The correlation is ascertained between the structures parameters and index of cyclic crack resistance in VT6 and VTZ-1 alloys at different temperatures. It is shown that crack resistance diminishes as temperature grows
