Determination of astrophysical reaction rates by the Coulomb breakup method
Description
The Coulomb breakup reaction can be used as a source of information on radiative capture process of astrophysical interest. Some aspects of this Coulomb breakup method are discussed as well as several examples of measurement including the 14O→13N+p experiment performed recently at RIKEN. Basic concepts for the nuclear astrophysics are also described. (author)
