Description
The wholesale markets observatory aims at providing general monitoring indicators of wholesale electricity and natural gas markets in France. This observatory is published on CRE's web site (www.cre.fr). The first part of the report summarizes the highlights of the wholesale electricity market during the 4. quarter 2020: market indicators (key dates, production, consumption, trade, capacity, market price, market concentration index, capacity mechanism, adjustment mechanisms, key figures). Highlights of the wholesale gas market are detailed in the second part together with some other context elements (carbon allowances price, clean spark spread and clean dark spread, gas prices in Europe and in the US versus coal prices)
