Induced long, poded mutant in toria (Brassica campestris L.)

Description
The present paper reports the breeding behaviour of one long poded mutant in Brassica campestris L. var., Toria-9 isolated in M2 from 40 Krad gamma ray treated progenies. The mutant progenies were studied through M4 to M6 with respect to seed yield per plant, and yield components like plant height, number of primary and secondary branches, pods per plant, seeds per pod with main emphasis on the length of the pod.
