Study of Cr, Cs, Fe and Co distribution in corvina and shrimp in Piraquara de Dentro region

Description
The determination of the elements Cr, Cs, Fe and Co in fish and shrimp was performed in Piraquara de Dentro bay in the vicinity of Angra Nuclear Power Plant. The method was instrumental neutron activation analysis. The values obtained from Cs and Cr are in the same detection limit order, while the results for Fe range from 20μg/g to 60μg/g for fish and from 67μg/g and 411μg/g for shrimp. The concentrations of the element Co are between 0,026 - 0,35μg/g for fish and 0,074 - 0,24μg/g for shrimp. (Author)

A determinacao dos elementos Cr, Cs, Fe e Co em peixe e camarao foi realizada na baia de Piraquara de Dentro, proximo a Usina Nuclear de Angra. Foi empregado o metodo de analise por ativacao neutronica instrumental. Os valores obtidos para Cs e Cr estao na mesma ordem do limite de detecao, enquanto que, os de Fe estao entre 20μg/g e 60μg/g para peixe e 67μg/g e 411μg/g para camarao. As concentracoes de Co estao entre 0,026 - 0,35μg/g para peixe e 0,074 - 0,24μg/g para camarao. (Autor)Additional details
