Addendum to the flux-flow theory for pure transition-metal superconductors near H/subc/2
Description
Using the two-band transport equations previously derived by the author for pure transition-metal superconductors in the flux-flow states near ${H}_{c2}$, expressions for the Ettingshausen and Peltier effects, which take into account the presence of a second band and a second energy gap in the transition-metal superconductors, are obtained. The two-band expressions are used to explain the difference in the slope of the measured transport coefficients in two pure-niobium superconductors (one with a residual resistance ratio of 6500 and the other with 130), which cannot be accounted for by the flux-flow developed by Maki for a one-band superconductor.
