Description

Dosimetric parameters were examined for a DMC 2000XB electronic personal dosemeter. The dose, energy and directional dependences were measured for photons within the Hp(10) dose equivalent range of 5 ?Sv to 10 Sv at energies of 16 to 1330 keV and in ±90 deg directions. Certain special features inherent in the dosemeter were found, such as nonlinearity of the dose dependence within the 10 to 100 mSv region and asymmetry of the energy and directional dependences. Hence, some corrections should be made in practice to refine the evaluation of the personal doses. (orig.)
