Neutron activation determination of selenium and tellurium in geological materials using preliminary assay concentrating

Description
The method is developed, determining selenium and tellurium in geologic materials, containing the virtues of assay and neutron-activation analysis. The method promotes to determine selenium and tellurium with high sensitivity. Selenium and tellurium are preliminarily concentrated in leaden work-leads. The distribution of selenium and tellurium in leaden work-leads in the process of crucible melting samples is studied. The achieved limit of determining without radiochemical division made up 1.10-6% for selenium and 3x10-6% for tellur Radiochemical selenium and tellurm section of leaden work-leads according to the developed methods permits to reduce the determining limit
