Ultrasonic testing of long elements with a nearly constant cross-section
Description
The device includes a ultrasonic transducer that can be moved in the axial direction of the tube. The transducer is composed of a plurality of piezoelectric elements sequentially energized to scan the surface to be tested. The device is compact allowing the testing of long tubes with a small diameter or small bending radius such as tubes of a steam generator
