Second spherical harmonics of the cosmic ray angular distribution
Description
The second spherical harmonics of the three dimensional cosmic ray angular distribution are deduced from the statistical Boltzmann equation. The density gradient and pitch is suggested that the semidiurnal variation is produced, in an indirect way, by the 0.3 per cent sunward streaming observed by Dyer et al in the 1-5 GV range. (orig.)
