Description

Results from recent studies of bottom quarks produced in hadron collisions at the CERN Sp-barpS and Fermilab Tevatron are reviewed. The measurements of the bottom quark production cross section are compared with the theoretical calculations of Nason, Dawson and Ellis. A new measurement of mixing in the neutral B meson system and the observation of the decays Bdo → J/ΨK*o and Bd± → J/ΨK± from the CDF experiment are reported. The limits on B meson flavour-changing neutral currents are summarized. (author) 16 refs., 9 figs., 4 tabs
