Application of supercritical carbon dioxide in nuclear reactor system

Description
The applications of supercritical carbon dioxide Brayton cycle in nuclear reactor systems have attracted worldwide attention in recent years. In this paper, the advantages of employing supercritical carbon dioxide Brayton cycle in nuclear reactors were analyzed based on its fundamental conception. The investigations on supercritical carbon dioxide Brayton cycle were reviewed. The potential application area of supercritical carbon dioxide in Chinese advanced nuclear energy technology were analyzed and discussed, and some associated suggestions were proposed. (authors)
