Electromagnetic mass difference of pions in supersymmetric QCD

Creators

Description

Although in QCD electromagnetism explicitly breaks chiral symmetry, in presence of supersymmetry the mass difference msub(π+)sup(2)-msub(π0)sup(2) remains zero. It is shown that this is a consequence of a non-renormalization theorem for the bound state Goldstone supermultiplets, analogous to that obeyed by elementary chiral superfields
