Emanation of radon from fly-ash and gypsum
Description
The emanation of radon from fly-ash and gypsum can be estimated from a simple model. The cases of a fly-ash dump and a room panelled with gypsum plates are considered. The contribution of the gypsum plates may eventually be significant in terms of the average natural radiation dose rate of 100-200 mxrem.y-1. (author)
