Description

HEATPLOT-S is a temperature distribution plotting program that may be used with the HEATING5 or HEATING6 generalized heat conduction codes. HEATPLOT-S has the capability of generating temperature contours, temperature-time profiles, and temperature-distance profiles from the current HEATING5/HEATING6 temperature distribution or from the temperature changes relative to the initial temperature distribution. Contour plots may be generated for two- or three-dimensional models. Temperature-time and temperature-distance profiles may be generated for one-, two-, or three-dimensional models. HEATPLOT-S uses the DISSPLA (Display Integrated Software System and Plotting Language) graphics package, and generates a compressed plot data set that can be stored on disk or routed to various plotting devices. Subsections are: introduction, input, and sample problem
