Excitation of 3p53d levels in argon in the distorted-wave Born approximation

Differential and total cross sections of excitation of 3p53d (J=1) levels in argon by intermediate energy electrons are derived in the distorted wave Born approximation. Electron-photon correlations under de-excitation of these levels into the ground and 3p54p states are considered
