Optimization or weighted libraries to effective sections through use of sensitivity coefficients

Description

Weighted libraries are the most widespread form of compiling pre-generated cross sections. During the calculation of core diffusion code cross sections obtained by interpolation of the values in the grid points. As interpolation errors depend on the distance between those points, it requires considerable refinement of the mesh to achieve adequate accuracy, leading to high storage requirements. To avoid this problem, we have developed an optimization procedure Weighted library for selecting the minimum number of grid points for each independent state variable, maintaining a factual error in the multiplication constant k-effective.
