Description
Hypothesis of linear summation of low cycle fatigue and creep damages in deformation-time form being statistically compared with experimental data obtained during tests of pearlite and austenite steels as well as of nickel base alloys has permitted plotting a correction function which depends on the correlation of the levels of low cycle fatigue damages and cycle creep damages and allows regarding deviations of the test data from the linear summation rule. Safety factors for the cycle number which are necessary to be accepted for compensation of a linear summation error as dependent on the required probability of thermal fatigue crack nonappearance are presented
