Digital radiography in infants and children
Description
There is only a small reported experience with digital subtraction angiography (DSA) in pediatric patients. Yet, the technique has generated a significant interest among pediatric radiologists and promises widespread application to pediatric diagnosis in coming years. This short communication: (1) reviews the literature on pediatric DSA; (2) discusses methods and the unique problems in performing such studies in children; and (3) speculates on future developments and pediatric applications of this technique
