Study of the Reaction π-p → η'π0n at the VES Spectrometer
Description
Here we present the study of the reaction π-p → η'π0n at the VES spectrometer. The mass and angular distributions for the η'π0 final state are compared with distributions for ηπ0 events, selected from the same data sample. The ratio R = BR(a20(1320) → η'π0)/BR(a20(1320) → ηπ0) was measured: R = 0.047 ± 0.019, which is in agreement with PDG value. It was shown also that in the η'π0 final state the production of exotic wave with quantum numbers JPC = 1-+ proceeds mainly through unnatural parity exchange. This is an indirect evidence of the fact that the decay width of the exotic meson π1(1600) into ρπ is much smaller than into b1(1235)π
