Experimental alternative fuel plants, national fuels, in France, from 1934 to the beginning of the 1950's

Description

During the 1930's, some companies developed methods to produce gasoline from solid fossil fuels. However the cost price remained too high to move beyond prototype plants. In 1940, the defeat caused renewed interest in favor of the experimental sites. They were copied and multiplied, in order to regain lost mobility
