Description
Fire protection system plays an important role in nuclear power plant to ensure the nuclear safety during operation. However, during the commissioning of the fire protection system of Fuqing NPP, there are some problems such as relief valve leakage, and slow response, which lead to the downstream pressure cannot meet the system requirements. This paper aims to analyze and study these problems, and verifies the inherent defects in original relief valves. Simultaneously, by means of test and verification of the replaced valves, the safe and stable operation of the fire protection system is ensured. (authors)
