Profile updating for information systems
Description
Profiles updating methods were analysed. A method suitable to the characteristics of the system used in the research (SDI/CIN/CNEN) that uses as the selection criterio the threshold and weights criterion, was determined. Relevance weighting theory was described and experiments to verify precision were carried out. The improvements obtained were good nevertheless more significant tests are required to attain more reliable results. (Author)

Analisam-se metodos de atualizacao de perfis. Determinou-se um metodo adequado as caracteristicas do sistema utilizado na pesquisa (SDI/CIN/CNEN) que utiliza como criterio de selecao pesos e patamar. Descreve-se a teoria de Ponderacao de Relevancia e executam-se experimentos para fins de verificacao de precisao. Os melhoramentos obtidos foram bastante bons, contudo testes mais significativos sao requeridos para que se chegue a resultados mais confiaveis. (Autor)Files
