Description
This work show βeff measurements of the IPEN/MB-01 reactor by means of a reactor noise method. The measurement are performed by two detectors from which the CPSD (Cross Power Spectral Density) in range 2.5 to 20 Hz is obtained. The experiment is run in several power levels. Gold foil activation were used to obtain the calibration curve for the power levels. The value of βeff for the IPEN/MB-01 reactor is equal to 7.7955 E-3±3.039 E-4. (author). 14 refs, 3 figs, 2 tabs
