Flux obtaining from industrial wastes

Description

The paper presents the results of studies on optimal parameters for the flux obtaining from industrial wastes. The optimal composition of the batch has been defined, including: waste - 80%, fluorite concentrate - 10% and aluminum fluoride - 10%. Melting point - 710 deg C, has coating and refining properties in relation to primary aluminum. The results of pilot industrial tests indicate that the main physical and chemical characteristics and environmental indicators of flux from industrial wastes comply with standard indicators. The cost of obtained flux is significantly lower than the cost of previously used fluxes. (author)
