Description
The preparation method of solid boron solution in silicon carbide in the form of micro powder has been worked out. The method consists in carbothermic reduction of amorphous silicon oxide contained dispersed boron atoms. The silicon oxide is obtained during hydrolysis of silicon-organic compounds and boric acid. The process have been carried out in an inert gas atmosphere in the temperature range of 1473-2175 K
