Mechanisms of interaction between laser radiation and metals in water

Description
Experimental results of laser radiation effects on metals in water are presented. The mechanisms of surface processes those facilitate efficiency of an metal heating by laser radiation in water are suggested. It is shown that in presence of vapor-gas bubble on the target surface in 'calm' water, laser heating mechanism depends on laser radiation power. (author)
