Quantitative analysis by Auger electron spectroscopy
Description
The general formula describing the density of Auger current is introduced and all factors constituting this formula are discussed. The paper presents the experimental techniques of quantitative analysis, i.e. the internal and external calibration methods. Calculations of surface composition of binary metal alloys from experimentally determined intensities of Auger electron signal are shown. (author)
