Influence of tungsten grain size on erosion resistance of tungsten-copper pseudoalloys

  • 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Problem Materialovedeniya

Description

Tungsten grains size in W-Cu pseudoalloys is studied for its effect on their erosion resistance during processing of hard alloy VK20. This dependence is found to be of a nonlinear character. Wear resistance and rate of the material removal from the electrode under treatment is the higher, the smaller is the W grain size
