Non-linear dynamics and deterministic chaos for periodically driven Bloch walls
Creators
Description
Non-linear dynamics of a harmonically driven 180 deg. Bloch wall is investigated by means of numerical solution of equations of motion. It was found that depending on the amplitude and period of the drive field, a large variety of the wall behaviour can appear. Periodic (with period one, period two and three), quasi-periodic, intermittent and chaotic attractors are obtained. In view of some structural transitions generated dynamically in the walls during their motion, the structure of the walls is highly inhomogeneous in space and irregular behaviour is observed in time
