The Theory of Dual Radiation Action (TDRA) is described in relation to mammalian cells exposed sequentially to mixed fields of radiation. A theoretical description is presented along with experimental and calculated survival curves for sequential exposure of Chinese hamster V79 cells with deuterons and/or x-rays
